Internships
We are always looking for volunteers. Applicants must have knowledge of or interest in learning about refugee issues, refugee law, and developing research skills, and have good English writing and computing skills. Individual projects within this work include LGBTI issues, family reunion, deportation and fundraising; French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and most any other language skill a distinct asset. Our programme functions primarily on volunteer labour and donated time. We are always in need of donations to help in basic functions. You can make a donation in a number of ways detailed below:
On the web
You can donate to our programming through the International Refugee Rights Initiative, just use the box labelled 'special instructions to the seller' to note that your donation should be used to support refugee legal aid.
Bank Transfer
If you would prefer to pay by electronic bank transfer, please contact us and we'll send you details.
By post
You can send cheques made out to the 'International Refugee Rights Initiative' to our office. Please reference on the cheque 'Donation for Rights in Exile Programme'.
