The Edmund Rice Centre (ERC) is involved in a range of projects and activities across the four areas of its operation in research, community education, advocacy and networking.  For refugees and asylum seekers the ERC provides a range of support.  In regards to post-deportation monitoring specifically, the ERC regularly sends teams of reseachers to follow up on failed asylum seekers deported from Australia.  They have documented abuses of returned asylum seekers in countries such as Afghanistan, Columbia, Rwanada, Sri Lanka, etc.  This research is gathered in two reports, Deported to Danger and Deported to Danger II, which can be found on the PDMN reading list. Further research by the centre can be found on their website at: http://www.erc.org.au/index.php?&MMN_position=1:1
